On Holiday

LOL. I'm on spring break but not really.....make sense?

I had a 4 page paper due on Sunday, then changed to Wed morning but I finished on Tues. night and sent it on it's merry way. I needed that paper out of my sight! I hate Anthro, hate hate hate it. It's boring.... So that paper really bugged me and had me on the edge. So I now I have insomnia since I was staying up really late, then waking up late that its hard for me to get back on schedule.

I had my 27th b-day last saturday and Naty bought me cake so my mom, carlos and steph came over and we BBQ'd and watched a movie. Nothing big, just how I like it. Then my mom came back the next day and we just chilled and watched another movie. Very relaxing weekend. OH! and the weekend before that was Easter. It came so early this year that I didn't get any time to decorate which is fine with me. We first went to mass then to the park to celebrate with everyone. It was pretty warm that day but it didn't last, it's now cold and raining......which I love! I really want to move to a cold country instead of "sunny" california. I hate the summers and eveyrthing else before and after is alright, I just wish it would rain a lot more. I want to be able to own a raincoat, galoshes and an umbrella. I've been trying to convince Naty that Colorado is the place to be, but we'll see. That would be awesome!

Bubbs is on vacation too. He goes back on the 15th. He's started back at baseball and plays for the Red Sox this year and is liking it since he's hitting the ball while be pitched at. This is his first year that he's not in T-ball. No baby here anymore.

Audrey is on vacation with me and bored out of her lil mind. She just acts like a lil cat that follows me, cuddles and is attached to my hip. She's a great lil helper but has been crying a lot lately. Don't know whats up but its ok, I show her who's boss ;-) It's really hard getting mad with her cause she's too sweet but theres times that I'm not having it.

Naty is working at my old college still, nothing new and still working on the house. We're finally finally finally working on the walkway this weekend. I'm praying he comes through and finishes it. He was just outside planning where all the lights are going before he puts down the stone. He's really into the lighting, wants our house to be seen from space, too funny.

Ok, I just started enjoying my vacation and its almost over.....of course! thats how my life runs....

Hey everyone

Sorry about the long pause in between posts (here comes the excuses) but I've been very busy with school, motherhood and wifehood. Still hanging in here and trying to roll with the punches of pain I keep getting. I'm so tired of complaining but thats whats on my head right now while I sit here in agony. Oh but good news about my health is that my acne is going away! I finally seen my regular family doctor cause the Metformin and BC pills my OBGYN gave me weren't working fast enough for me. So my doctor gave me an antibiotic to take at night, an antibiotic cream and benzoyl peroxide for the morning and differin at night and the combo has cleared my acne and now I'm left with scars which I'll take before my painful cystic acne. Thank God its finally working and I'm feeling good about myself again (except for the weight thing).

It seems that school gets harder and harder each day. I'm honestly not loving school anymore and miss my regular days off with my kids but I have to finish what I started and I know it will all pay off. I have 1 week left of school then I'll be on vacation for 1 week and Bubbs has been off since last week and will go back on April 15th. I've been having to send him with his grandma's while I go to school cause I don't have anyone to watch him. Audrey is still loving school and gives me a hard time when I go pick her up. Last semester she'd have to go to the bathroom when I picked her up so she'd take a long time and just sit on the toilet. Now this time she ignores me and keeps playing and acts like I'm not even there. So I have to act like I'm leaving and then she follows me, LOL. I really need to get a new camera cause I'm missing out on memories of them, they're growing so fast.

Naty went back to work like 1.5 months ago cause he knew it was time to go back. He's working at my old school (ELAC) and is liking it a lot since he's trying to be a foreman and make more cash, You know Naty, loves his paper, LOL the green kind ;-)

Our house is still in progress and Naty is ready to set the pavers down! finally!! YES! I've gotta get pics tomorrow of the progress and make sure to post them. He also did my flowerbed and the 2 entrance walls on the walkway, WOW! its coming together. Also the stone for the face of the house should be here on Monday so I'm thinking in 2 weeks we'll be done with the front of the house. Oh and can't forget the flowers! OH YEAH! I'm going to fill that flowerbed to the max! with bulbs spread out all over the place, I'll prob. buy hundreds of dollars in flowers.

Another thing, I've been really into you tube lately. I never knew all that was out there. I've learned hairdo's, make-up tips, cooking lessons, etc.. its really cool.

Let's see......OH Savannah's b-day is tomorrow and Sunday is Easter, already. The year is zooming..... it'll be dreadful summer soon (I all ready can't wait for it to be over). Anyway, its really late and I'm here youtubing so I better go to bed! goodnight.

All alone

to do homework and THINK.

Naty took the kids to his mom's house since he had to work from 3-midnight. He was supposed to take care of them while I did my homework but instead he wanted to help a friend out and work a side job for him so he dumped the kids on his mom. The in-laws are taking the kids to a family birthday party and they're spending the night with them too. I thought it was cool since they haven't been seeing their grandparents that often. It seemed that last year they were here a lot and since Naty has been working a lot they haven't been coming around too much. I have a lot of homework to do today and have been working on it since Naty left 2 hours ago. I'm so damn tired of homework and taking a short break now.

I went back to school 3 weeks ago and the pace is picking up now. I have papers already due next week and I barely started on them today. I made a goal for this year to stay on top of things and not fall behind so I need to pick up the speed on things and stop procrastinating. I need to shoot for those A's and get my overall GPA up for graduate school!

OH and I found something out, I need to apply for graduation, ALREADY! My teacher taught us how to graduate a whole semester earlier so that we don't have to wait for Spring 2010 to graduate, instead I can graduate in Spring 2009 but still finish up my last semester in Fall 2009. This is all happening way too fast for me! wow! I just graduated from ELAC and now from CSUF, WOW, I hope P.A. school goes this fast too.

Now, on to my health dilemma. I went to see Dr. King in Jan. and he gave me some Metformin to treat mild PCOS. He said I'm not officially diagnosed with PCOS till he sees my results next time BUT I know I have it. I have bad acne all along my jawline and my periods are all screwed up. The medicine hasn't made anything better but I think its helping my body go back to normal because I'm finally losing weight. I would diet and exercise and it would still be so hard to lose weight and even though the Metformin makes me hungry as hell I think my body is going back to norman :-) well I hope so. This acne is driving me crazy, I just want it gone and for it never to come back. I would complain about my face before but now! its what I'd call bad, before was just minor breakouts, damn I hate it.

Our house is on hold for now since Naty is working a lot. Our next step is to lay the bricks on the walkways and stairs so that we can start on the stone on the face of the house. We were so close to ordering and then Naty got busy! are we ever going to finish!

Anyway, everything is ok and going good, nothing major besides my PCOS.

Windy Night

We almost got blown away last night, the santa anas kicked up and almost blew us to Kansas. The tree was rocking and Bubbs avocado tree almost collapsed but Thank God nothing bad happened. Naty and I were just watching the tree getting closer to the power lines and we said, "oh man, we're losing our power," but that didn't happen so I know for sure he'll take care of that tree after that happened. Big pieces fell everywhere and part of our front tree was in the neighbors yard. Also, I followed Naty to chat with the neighbor and all we see is the other neighbor's car cover in the air floating like a ghost and holding on for dear life then I happen to look out about an hour later and it was gone, LOL. I felt bad after for not pulling it off for him and giving it to him but it was really late and I didn't want to get shot for pulling something off someones car. After I dropped off Bubbs at school I had to drag the big branches that fell off the front tree into the drive way, OMG! they were so heavy. Oh and forgot to mention that our next door neighbor has wood singles and some came off and are in our yard too, great! more crap to clean up. Overall, I'm glad our power didn't go off and that we're safe. Naty needs to cut that tree, ASAP!

Back from Novato

We went up North to visit Jose and Monica on the 4th and came back home on the 13th. We had fun getting away and relaxing somewhere other than home and had a great time. Naty kept asking me if I wanted to go do something but I was happy chilling at their house and just spending time with them. I told Naty if he wanted to do something then we could but it wasn't necessary and I was having a good time bonding with Monica. The kids were dying to see Alvin and the chipmunks so we did that right away, did some shopping, had my hair done, did some more shopping (hehehehehe) and my favorite of all we went to see some new houses that they were interested in. All I could say is, "WOW," they were sooooooooo nice! I was imagining myself in those houses and Monica made a few comments about us moving up there that it started to sound really good to me ;) Oh and Naty went to sign the book at his union in San Francisco and got a call on almost the last day we were there so he got to work one day and made a little over $900 bucks for one day! WOW! the union electricians make $50/hour up there and Naty was in total shock and love. Overall, the getaway was great and made me miss my home and appreciate it more once we got here. I was so tired on the way home that I thought I was going to knock out once I got here but instead I started putting all the Christmas stuff away and cleaning like crazy. I'm really glad to be home, aaaaaahhhhhh I love our home :)

Bubbs went back to school today and had a blast. He was so happy to go back and was done with vacation, I think he got bored and tired of hanging out all day. I'm really glad he got back into the swing of things and loves school. As for Audrey she's dying to go back to school too, she was upset that Bubbs got to go to school and she didn't. She loves playing with the other kids and loves her teachers too, I just hope this lasts for both of them, lol.

I also go back to school next week with Audrey. We're school and carpool buddies and have fun going to school together. It's just so convenient with the daycare being on campus. Oh and speaking of school I finally got my grades last week, here they are!

Isn't that funny that I got a B in stress management! LOL, I'll admit, that class gave me major stress! My teacher turned out to be totally cool at the end and announced that we would be the last class that she'd teach cause she was retiring. I felt bad for her cause she cried in front of the class but besides the B, I did learn a lot in her class.

Now this semester I'll be taking:

Advanced College Writing (blah, I hate english)
Concepts of Health Science
Measurements and Statistics in Health Science w/ lab
Visual Communication

My goals again are to get all A's! I'm really trying to graduate with honors, I know I could do it. I'm going to take advantage of all the help I can get with my classes. Like tutors and writing centers, I'm not going to guess my way through this semester. I'm also going to stay on top of assignments like I did about 3/4 of the time last semester. Big changes and Big hopes for this semester and actually in my personal life as well, we won't get into those.

Happy 2008

We had a fun and entertaining christmas eve. I had spent the whole day before cleaning, baking and prepping for our big dinner. My mom and Steph even spent the night to help me but after a while I think Steph felt slaved by my demands. I had her cooking, cleaning and even hanging the Christmas lights with Naty, she looked at me like I was nuts when I volunteered her to help Naty put back up our lights. We had people working on our house on the 23rd! while Christmas was fast aproaching, instead of calling the whole thing off I decided to work with what I had. To my great surprise the guys finished the outside of our house and I'm amazed with the results! The actual color that we chose for the house was a lot darker than what it came out BUT we're really happy with it since the stone on the face of the house will be really dark it will blend really nice. So back to Christmas, we had tons of food, drinks and people! It was an awesome day! I was so busy that I didn't get pictures but I'll make sure to ask everyone else for some. So we just ate, drank and were merry.

Then Christmas morning came and the kids were waiting for us and when it was time they rushed the tree. Bubbs got a lot of games, movies and very little clothes and Audrey got some games, lots of toys, movies and very little clothes. Again, i didn't get pictures cause we were videotaping and I still haven't emptied my card on my camera, I know I know! thats dumb! After the presents I went back to sleep for a while and woke up to some guests which were Naty's dad, Miguel, Veronica and the kids, they stood for a bit and then we were off to Big boy Alex's house. He had asked Naty and his dad to fix his fence that the wind blew over so we gladly went and I took some games for the kids while we waited. It ended up getting late and Mayra got home so we went out for dinner at some Chinese Buffet place. OMG! it was hilarious, I had just seen Christmas story and the part when they go eat at a Chinese resturant cause the dogs eat the turkey, it was exactly like that! I told Naty watch them come out and start singing, "Fah rah rah rah raaaaaaaahhhhh, rah rah rah rah" (sung to Deck that halls, fa la la la la...." That is the most funniest part of the movie ever! But we had a nice quiet dinner and were off.

Now for New years eve we went to the George Lopez stand up show at Nokia theatre. We went in the neighbors Limo with a fully stocked bar. Me, Naty, Ruben, Laura, Mondo and one of his friends went. We had a cool night but they had changed the show from 10pm to 8:15! we were on the road at 8pm and the limo driver is the one who told us, imagine if he didn't tell us! we would have not seen George Lopez. We got there around 9pm and he came on at 9:20p, good thing we got to see him but we missed the first half of the show, I was fine with that but I don't think everyone else was. Oh well, what could we do?!? G Lo was hilarious and I couldn't breathe and had chest pains after but it was all worth it.

Then the next day we decided out of no where to have a BBQ here at home and invite everyone over. It was a nice day.

Of course my main goal for 2008 is to lose weight, I couldn't believe how big I looked in the pics that Laura took of that night. WOWSERS!! I'm huge! I don't want to get any bigger, I'm so out of shape, gross and very unhealthy, with all of my health problems I really need to lose weight. I know if I did my health would improve dramatically. I'm in pain as I type this and just want it to end, I wish I could just rest already, not DIE either! I meant, rest from this pain.......YIKES! Oh and forgot to mention that my doctor sent me for an ultrasound the next day and I now have another appt. with him on Jan. 17th. I just want to hear that I'm fine but I know I'm not. I'm also hoping to lose 5 lbs. before I see him, I've gained a good 15 lbs. since my surgery, NOT GOOD.

Well this post took me a long time to write so I better go now. We're leaving to San Francisco tomorrow morning to visit Jose and Monica. We owe them a visit since they come down here a lot. I'm just hoping to bond and have a nice vacation with the family, hopefully we can do that. Anyway, take care everyone and Happy 2008!

Happy Birthday Mama, I love you so very much and I thank God for you everyday. You are such a sweet blessing to our family and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect girl. You're an amazing daughter and sister and you're my best little helper. I love you with all of my heart. You're my world.

and for Bubbs, I know I forgot to give you a special message on your birthday so all I wanted to tell you is that you're the best son a mother could have. You're smart, helpful, funny, loving and special in your own ways. You bring a smile to our faces each and everytime we see your cute little face. We love you papa with all of our hearts and thank God as well for blessing us with you.

Now for Naty, Naty you're the best thing that could ever happen to me. Without you I wouldn't have my 2 beautiful and perfect babies. You three bring happiness to my life and love that I am thankful for knowing. Thank you thank you thank you for the love you give us each and every day. I love you.

Wow, today was a wild and crazy day. It all started off with Audrey waking up excited about her birthday. She was sooooooo happy and wanted to open her gift right away. I had to take her mind off presents and treat her to some cocoa puffs. Then we had my post-surgery doctor appointment which wasn't too great. I was explaining to him that my pain is now on my left and its getting worse and worse. He then told me that he'd give me another ultrasound but thinks at the most I'll probably only have cysts BUT if my pain doesn't go away I'd most likely need a hysterectomy because my uterus is stuck to my stomach wall which is what is causing me so much pain. He said a lot of ladies that have had the same problem as me have loved the way they felt after having this procedure because it takes all of their pain away. He said the main thing that Naty and I have to talk about is if we want more kids. Thats a subject that we have to talk about seriously and go from there. I actually want to get at least 3 more opinions before I do anything drastic. It's really hard for me to hand over my uterus just like that (eeww, i know). I've been on an emotional roller coaster ever since my doc appt. earlier.

After the appt. I came home and got to work on the cleaning, cooking and decorating. Naty's mom was here too, helping me. We just got to work and finished really fast. I had so much junk food that it made me sick to my stomach just by looking at it. I didn't want to touch any of it, especially after getting weighed at my appt. We had enchilada casserole, rice, beans and macaroni salad for dinner plus lots of goodies. Audrey got a rose petal cottage with a baking set, dora bingo, clothes, candy land castle game, hello kitty stationary and money. Thank you all for coming.

Then around 8:00 pm the people for the posada came, they sang and prayed and we served them cookies, cake, donuts and the remaining goodies we had from the party and I made some fast hot cocoa for everyone. They also brought a nativity scene that they carried to our house.

Soon after everyone left and Naty's mom and his brother Jesse left to mexico for 2 weeks. I have a lot to clean too! I'll be doing that all day tomorrow.

Wow what a day! Now to get ready for Christmas Eve.

Can you say STRESS?

I have 1 week left of instruction then the week after is finals. I can't believe how they just pile on the homework during this time. They should have given us all that crap weeks ago not when we're trying to study, gggggrrrrrrrr. Can you tell I'm stressed? I am!

Oh the hives are finally gone, they would come out on my hands here and there and then they finally disappeared, yeah it was weird. I hope they're gone for good and never come back.

As for the kids, Bubbs was sick first and now Audrey is sick with a cold. Audrey woke up coughing really bad and choking, she scared the heck out of me. But I've been giving her medicine so she's better right now and acting her crazy self.

And Naty has been working on the house and added a gate to the side since we have weirdos parking there and fighting too! we had to call the cops on some losers that were yelling and threatening each other, they came fast too! So I guess Naty got scared since the kids window is right there facing the street and anyone can just pop their head in their window or break in for that matter, it was scary. So him and his dad built a new wooden fence and its all up but just needs the trim and moldings and another coat of paint and it'll be completely finished. Tomorrow he's knocking down another brick wall (small ones) so that he can start building the wooden doors.

Oh and I went on a major shopping spree, mostly for Audrey's B-day and the treats for the neighbors and Audrey's teachers. I also had to get two b-day gifts for Mia and Lorena, they're both turning 1! time flies

Let's see, then for thanksgiving we had a big feast, my mother in law helped me make everything since her brothers came over and my brother in laws too. We made a big turkey and stuffing, ham, macaroni salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn on the cob with veggies, fresh bread rolls, pumpkin pies and pumpkin rolls. That took all day too. The day was awesome! Oh and the best thing of all was that Miguel and Veronica asked us to be baby Miguel's Godparents!! we were so happy and gladly accepted. By 5pm I was so tired and wanted to go to bed.

Ok, I hear the kids messing around and its 9:30 I better put them to sleep or they'll be crying in the morning when I wake them up, LOL.

I've got Hives :-(

and no they're not contagious! (for those that keep asking before they walk in my house!)

it all started last tuesday when Audrey and I went for a short walk in the hot hot sun. We went out and all of a sudden I felt the hotness of the sun burn my face, since Audrey was so excited I didn't turn back. We went around a couple of blocks then she started to complain that she was going to throw up, so we headed back home. Well on the way back home my back started stinging and it felt as if I were being pocked with needles. I tried to ignore it and started to itch a little. We got home and it went away but not for long, in the evening the itching came back but I had no hives (yet!). I took benadryl and it went away. So here comes Wednesday and I had no itching till the evening again. I started itching and burning all over my back and neck but Naty said he didn't see anything that it was just red from me scratching. So I kept on scratching and didn't want to take benadryl since I was working on a paper for school, well it got so bad that I didn't have a choice and ended up taking benadryl, well this time it didn't work and all of a sudden I seen the hives appear before my eyes on my arm! It was awful, I called Naty:

ME: do you see the hives? they're all over my arm, do you see them?
NATY: where?
ME: right here in my inner arm, LOOK! (all amazed) they disappear and come back, LOOK, did you see that one?
NATY: uh no, I think you're tripping! I don't see shit
ME: Open your f-ing eyes, they're right there!!!
NATY: I just see red from you scratching
ME: DAMMIT! I know you see them, if you don't then you need some f-ing glasses
NATY: (Turns back to the TV and keeps flipping through channels)
ME: (GGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR)

so it was already about 10:30pm by that time so I couldn't go to the urgent care it closed at 9pm and I was not going to the ER.

So then thursday comes and again, nothing all day and then night time came and BAMM!! I break out, even worse, all over my body, I take benadryl its not budging, I wait it out, nothing, call Nurse, she says, "come in now". Go to the urgent care and get a big shot of heaven. The doctor asked me a million and one questions and of course couldn't come up with anything, I didn't care anyway, I just wanted relief. So he RX-ed me some Prednisone and claratin. They make Naty sign a paper that he will drive me home at this point I wouldn't even attempt it. So I get to the car and knock out and don't remember the rest---hahahahaha!

So here comes friday, MIL comes over to help me cook a mock thanksgiving dinner, so we're going to town and what happens? my right hand swells up about 2X its regular size and starts giving me the sign that breakout is going to happen any second. So I take only 25mg of benadryl cause I'm afraid of knocking out and it surprisingly works. So then Naty brings me some bacardi mojitos and I have about two then my mom takes the kids and we decide to go to the corner resturant and sit at the bar and talk. Right when we sit down, BAMM! my hand is huge again, I didn't want to kill the moment so I try to ignore it, well that didn't last long, before you know it we were gone and home already. Well, since I had those drinks I couldn't take benadryl, I was afraid of what might happen so I suffered and paid.

Then saturday came and it seemed to bug me the whole day, sometimes calm, sometimes awful, throughout the day so I stood home in my PJ's the whole day while my mom took the kids with her to a charity thing. I tried my home remedies and nothing seem to cure them so I stuck to my 50mg benadryl every 4.5 hours and it kept it tolerable. Oh and get this! the medicine the doc RX-ed me causes weight gain, like I need that? it made me so sick so I'm not taking it anymore, it's not worth it!

Now sunday was a lot better, I only had my hand swell about four times and broke out probably twice and now today I've had my hand swell three times and broke out once so I'm hoping its fading. Hives are horrible, I hope Naty gets them so that he knows what I've been going through, LMAO!!! hahahahaahhaha JK! I don't wish that on him, but it was sure funny as hell to say to him. He thinks I meant it, hahahahahahaha (evil laugh)

Happy 7th Birthday Bubbs

Party after Party!

I had Naty's b-day dinner here at our house on the 10th of October, he is now.......27 years young. The kids and I decorated with balloons and signs and he was surprised to see the house transformed. Naty was mostly happy that his best friend finally came down and they had a few beers with his brother and work buddy.





Then on the saturday before Halloween, Arlene had a party and we went to that one too. We mostly went for the kids so we didn't dress up but everyone else was. We just drank, danced and had a good time.





Finally, Bubbs B-day was on Nov. 3rd but we celebrated it on Halloween. I had loads of food and loads of people here that wanted to share this special day with us. First we had the dinner and chatted it up (drank a lil too) then the kids went trick or treating. We had a good time.

Naty and I were watching desperate Housewives (don't tell him I told you) and this funny commercial came on that made us bust up!

The fires are going strong and getting worse. I can't believe people can be so heartless and ruin families lives and cause so much harm to everyone. Those evil people don't deserve to live, I wish we could find these people and throw them from a plane into the fire. The sky looks like hell has come over us with orange and red shooting from the sun and ashes falling everywhere you go. The air quality is bad, I can only imagine how bad it is for the people right in the giant mess. It is horrible out there, I pray they don't come over here again, that was a horrible time that I will never forget. Anyway, I pray they contain this demon fast and get everyone back into their homes soon.

Let's see, school is getting even harder now that we're half way in and all my teachers decided to plan their tests all in the same week. That means more studying and less me time, great! Well good thing our Vegas vacation is coming up so we'll be able to relax really soon. We were going to go on a cruise but they wanted to charge us about $300 more for that week of thanksgiving so we said forget it! I'd rather wait, that would be $1200 more for all of us, no thank you. We always have a good time in vegas so this time we'll go to at least 2 shows and go out of the vegas boundries to explore.

Oh and once again, I'm having christmas eve at my house, so you all are welcome to come. We still have a lot to do to get the house ready but I have faith in Naty and know he can do it! he put the front door in the day before xmas last year and was still working on it minutes before everyone showed up, we pulled that off great! Hopefully that won't be this year.

God give me Strength

I've had a wild week, first Bubbs was sick with a stomach bug then Audrey got it and she's finally better! she was sooooo sick and had a high fever. I had to miss 3 days of school cause she wouldn't be accepted back into daycare till she was fever free for 24 hours. Then today (friday) Bubbs didn't have school so they were driving me nuts! Naty worked till really late again and I was left with them fighting and crying the whole day. I had to jump in a couple of times, LOL. They're really good kids too but I don't know what happened today.

Naty got home so late and ate, played with the kids a little, took a shower and went to bed. I feel bad for him cause he's beat! He says the job is winding down now and he'll be home more often starting next wed. or thurs. We'll see! he's been saying that since the beginning of the year!

Oh forgot to mention that it was my chubby bear's b-day on the 10th! I had him a dinner and everyone came and we had a good time. He was mostly excited about his friend Frank coming cause that guy always leaves us hanging. He was so happy that he came by. I put up a big sign that said Happy B-day and bought balloons too. Then I got home cooked and cleaned, all while Audrey was sick! I'd run back and forth. My poor baby. Oh when we went to party city she wanted to barf in there cause she got scared of the halloween stuff. Poor thing, she's said, "mommy I wanna throw up cause I'm scared mommy, lets leave, please" so we walked to target while they blew up the balloons, she was scared out of her mind! But overall all the hard work was worth it cause 3 days later naty is still thanking me. I love him :-)

I also started crocheting a bit. I remember my granny teaching me when I was younger but I didn't remember so Naty took us to Michael's cause I was determined to learn again so we came across this nice lady that taught me really fast in the store. I got the beginning steps but then forgot the rest so Monica and Jose were down visiting that day so Monica taught me again. I'm now on my 3rd scarf. First I did one for myself, then one for Audrey and now this one is for Bubbs teacher. He wanted one for her so bad so I had to. He keeps checking up on me and making sure that I'm still doing it, he knows me too good!

My nephew was also born this week (10/8/07) and he weighed 6 lbs. 11 oz. we still haven't met him since the kids have been sick. I don't want him getting sick cause of us so I'd rather play it safe. I'm so anxious to see him so hopefully Naty gets home early tomorrow so that we can meet him finally!

Let's see, what else?!?!? Oh I'm having a lil Halloween get together on Halloween day, its just something that I love doing. I make italian type food and order pizza and me and the kids just work on sweets the whole time till the evening comes, then they go trick or treating with everyone while I stay behind and pass out candy. Oh and last year a house down the street had a really good haunted house so we're hoping they do it again this year. It was honestly the best one I've ever been too, it was soooooooooo good! Then we'll watch some movies once everyone gets back. I wish it was a weekend cause then I could have had a real party with music and all but Arlene is having a party on the 27th so thats good enough! Actually Eddie is having his halloween party tomorrow in fresno but we're not going after all, we were gonna go with Alex to Vegas for Mayra's b-day but he ended up canceling and Naty's working now so no biggie. I hate being home alone, I get so bored, hopefully he doesn't leave me all day, wwwwaaaaahhhhh!!

anyway, its really late and I'm still up washing clothes. I better go get my beauty sleep now. see ya soon.

Hot, cold, hot, cold

what is up with this weather, I wish it would just stay cold! it was cold on friday, then a lil warm on sat. then hot today! gggggrrrrr

Yesterday we went to Naty's Unions Picnic and then to visit his cousins in south Gate, we hadn't seen them in a while so it was good to reunite, they're always so inviting and cool people. Then on the way home Bubbs got sick in the car and grossed us all out, LOL, it was horrible, something out of a horror film. But he's feeling a lot better now and acting crazy as usual.

well last weekend Naty and his dad got to put the nice wood on the porch ceiling and it came out soooooooo good! all we need to do is stain it, prob. after the stucco is done. Here's some pics.

It's Friday

and Audrey and I didn't go to school cause we're coming down with something, well actually Aud has a cold and I have some type of fever......sucks!

I had the best news yesterday when Naty said he wasn't working Saturday, damn he never takes a break and it drives me nuts! I have a paper and 2 test to study for, for next week so that will be a big help. We were also invited to a quincera and someone's surprise B-day party (not saying) but not sure if we'll make it to either. If Naty took the day off then that means he wants to be productive, so he'll probably want to work on the house, who knows?!?

So I guess everyone is going to Eddie's Halloween party but Naty was wanting to go to Vegas for his B-day but I honestly don't want to go anywhere, its so hard being in school cause I have a test that following weekend and I'm already stressing it. I should just stay home.

Last weekend we went to meet Michelle's baby for the first time. That poor lil guy has been through so much in his lil life. I was glad we finally got to meet him and he's too cute, he looks like a lil man, I wanted to squeeze him, hahahahaha, poor baby, I know that he's getting way better though and thats all that matters. Carol had a dinner for all of us and it was nice to chill with family, oh and it was raining! my favorite thing ever! love rain and Pat looks like he's getting better, at one time he looked out of it then he ate and was back to his clown self. I hope he's taking care of himself.

OHH and while we were at Pat and Carol's Bubbs was at Disneyland with his nina. Man won't even go into what happened that morning........ggggggrrrrrrr, lets just say me and Naty got into it. Damn we were so mad at each other, hahahahahahaha, I wanted to pimp slap him and I know he wanted to do the same to me, but we made up about an hour later. :-)

I'm hoping I get to see Savannah (Vanessa's Baby) today, so I'm going to call her later, I know she'll be at the quince tomarrow but like I said don't know if we'll go. I miss that lil girl, shes the cutest thing! and Our lil niece Lorena too!! she's so big already! she's hilarious and laughs so easily. Oh and can't forget lil Mia, that lil chubby thing, she loved Naty last week but didn't want to come with me, I made her come with me and she kept pulling on my ear ring, ouch!!! we'll prob. see our niece today, oh and Veronica is about to pop, she's being induced on Oct. 11th so we'll have our nephew soon. I already went crazy on the shopping for him :-)

Well I better get back to this house, everything is calling me. I just need to clean up a bit then I can relax.......
